Film and TV Knits
At the moment I am knitting a gorgeous cable wrap called WalkThrough Aspens, pattern by Kalurah Hudson. I'm working with my Cafe Collection British Blue Faced Leicester in Plum and this is the Aran weight.
Kalurah is a cable accessory queen and I could make her patterns all day long!
As it is the wrap is taking a while and I'm enjoying a good catch up on some of my favourite movies.
I don't know about you but I enjoy sweater spotting when I'm watching movies.
I love it when I'm chatting with other makers and they share the lengths they go to in replicating something they've seen on screen.
If you are looking for some screen inspiration or just a nice long watch while you work here are my top yarn picks:
The Quiet Place - colourful kids and adults rustic stranded knits.
Fortitude - heavy weight Lopi inspired yoke sweaters.
Penny Dreadful (season 2) - shrugs, cardigans and long wraps.
His Dark Materials (TV or Movie) - mittens, hats and a very lovely crew neck sweater.
Wisting - oversized mohair with a retro '90s feel, and a Pig in a cowl.
Please share your yarn watching recommendations as I'm only halfway through this wrap and I need some new ideas.
